Welcome to my blog journal thing! This is where I put all my head empty thoughts. I talk about a lot of different things like games, music, art, etc. Pencil cursor is by whimsical. Paper background by dogmeat.
(01:41) Redid this page from scratch because it was really wonky and I don't know what I'm
doing.
Since my last post I've moved out of my apartment for an internship I'll be starting soon in a
whole different state. This is my 9th move since 2018 and I really hated moving again after only
being at this last place for 6 months. :( I didn't like leaving either since it was first
queer-friendly place I've ever lived in. I'll really miss being there.
In other news I started working on some things I've put off doing for a while! I set up a
jellyfin so I could put all my dvds on there and watch them
on the go! It's mostly Ghibli movies but I've got other stuff too. I'm a physical media enjoyer
but I also like watching/listening to things on my phone while I work or on breaks at work.
(03:40) I stayed up very late trying to figure out how to make this with mixed results. But I'm
proud with how it came out! This was inspired a journal page by
dogmeat that I really liked.
Did you know that tonight was the Yule Moon? (also known as the Cold Moon by the Mohawk people)
It's the last full moon before the Yuletide Festival and the end of the Gregorian calendar, so
it's a good time to do some reflection and celebrations for everything you've accomplished (or
personally, survived) this year.
I only really started paying attention to the cycles of the moon this year and learned
some of their names. Some of them have names associated with North American indigenous cultures
that I don't feel comfortable calling as I don't have relations with those. So I try to find
alternative pagan names when I can.
I've been listening to the OG Cytus OST the entire time I've been figuring this out. I loved
this game so much when I was younger and some of the songs are still a bop. Here's Brionac by
Project Grimoire. I always loved the little guy on the music art. This is probably my furry
origin story.
That was the first time I've used an iframe element and I struggled way too long with it.
YouTube literally has a built in embed feature. I'm a fool.
